(1/2) SFF: Sam had a bad first time (not necessarily a shove- maybe something to do with Jess or even just generally bad sex) and Gabe doesn't have a clue, so he's confused when they've been dating a month and a half (way longer than he would ever usually wait, but something about Sam made him FORGET that there was no sex) and hell, when Sam's loosened up, he can be flirty as hell, and yet nothing's gone down. Sam always seems so uncomfortable whenever it's mentioned and Gabriel realises he may (2/3) be ace. So ofc being super-sexual, he'd be okay with it but not sure how to work it into his own love life. So he sits Sam down and talks about it. And no, Sam says he isn't ace, although he's thought he might be at times since then. He's just really freaked out at the prospect. So of course, Gabriel tells him it's fine and lets it lie... Until a week later, when Sam heads to Gabe's and finds red rose petals around the house and a cooked (3/3) meal that Gabriel's prepared. There's wine and [insert cliche cringey romantic/sexual Tom Jones- ish song here] is playing and he can't help but laugh, but it all sets him so at ease because Gabe did this for him. So of course Gabe explains that 'hey, if you're not game right now, no problem- we eat, we go to bed and just talk and fall asleep. But if you're up for this, I'm going to make sure that sex doesn't mean that to you any more', or words to that effect.
