Since the River Cult post has gotten some traction and people have already made fanart (which I loved by the way) I decided "Heck it, LETS DO THIS!" I also tried a different method of shading with this and got lazy towards the end-

So heres a drawing of Wingdings trolling Blue. He knows exactly what Blue's been up to and likes to toy around with him, because Blue never figured out that Cores "new responsibilities" included looking after anyone he knew until they literally spelled it out to him.

Personal Headcanon?

I came up with an idea that I really like and might use for future endeavors. So I was looking at this fanart for Underswap with scientists Gaster and Papyrus, but I really like the idea of Riverperson and Gaster swapping places, so I thought this: Gaster is Papyrus’ co-worker (and dad?) under Royal Scientist Riverperson, and when Riverperson had their incident with the Core, Gaster tried to rescue them and got injured (from an explosion? falling debris?) and that’s how he got his skull cracked and (wait for it…!) memory loss. At the tail end of his injury, he managed to shortcut away before passing out and he woke on the outskirts of Showdin with no past he could recall except for a single name: Riverperson. So he starts up the ferrying business and he speaks to himself a lot (in Wingdings, which (most) monsters don’t understand), and what comes out are riddles related to a past he can’t remember. Ex: “… Beware the man who sings …”, etc. Anyone else think this is an interesting idea?

Is Wingdings related to the Underswap skelebros in anyway? Or are they just friends?

Hmz I've always thought of Gasters from around the Multiverse to be the fathers of the skelebros in general, and given the fact that Wingdings is *technically* a Gaster I would have to say directly related?

If he is related to Blue though, that makes the whole situation 10x more hilarious, because when Wingdings drops hints like "I know what you're up to" or "Don't think I don't know what you're doing as of late" Blues first thoughts might not even BE "he knows I'm a star snas".

For Underawap though, I'm leaning towards possibly cousins though. Normally I would say father but I don't think he would make a good dad.

Tldr: they're cousins. Probably. (All that probably made no sense lol)
