So I did manage to finish it today! I'm planning on returning to artfight this year, so I got a lot of stuff to work and rework, and I'm starting with bethaby :] (link to her on artfight will be on a reblog just in case)
Also sharing some of the description I wrote for her there:
Bethany is the oldest child of Asgore and Gaster, being born a few years before the barrier broke, and a few months before Gaster got erased from reality, before being brought back post pacifist (it's an AU shared with my good friend @beau-draws-and-cries ) As a kid, she had a lot of energy and couldn't stop for more than a few moments, if something didn't catch her interest. Tried acting older than she was, wanting to be fit to be queen as soon as possible. And as an adult she's more serious, but still retains some of her goofy side, especially with her younger siblings and friends. She still speaks her mind, just happens that she speaks less often. Her relationship with both Asgore and Gaster got a little shaky, for a lot of reasons, but especially for how much compared she is to her older siblings, both living and dead. It's more complicated than outright hate or dislike. She's trying to find herself after giving up the idea of following Asgore's footsteps, and so far she's been really into drawing, programming and biology, but no clear idea of her future anymore. An ongoing work in progress.
