Continuing on the idea of Kris, frisk, and Chara being with the chain.

Imagine how the power of determination would baffle the chain. Like in the original game of undertale, if Frisk lost in the battle with Asreil (most likely spelt that wrong), frisk would refuse to die

Now put that in front of Hyrule, Frisk or Chara fall down in battle, and it's fatal, but they just get back up because "it refused"

It is Asriel. So close. (Closer than me anyway, I thought it was one way but google it to make sure- I was wrong.) :D

They would horrified to see that. Well- Hyrule would- as the healer anyway.

Wild would probably find a kinship with them because he's used to stuffing him face with whatever raw food (or full on cooked meals) he has at his disposal just so he can keep going. And! For a time he had Mipha's Grace, so at best I think he'd explain it to the rest of the group that Frisk obviously has something similar or else it wouldn't be able to work.

He's wrong. But no one questions it afterwards.

Looks like you've already seen my previous ask about Kris!reader, Frisk!reader and Chara!reader. Maybe you don't need to answer the one that I send that is kinda like this one but shorter :>

So I'll say about a little fun fact about my headcanon of the KFC Gang.

When fighting, I would like to think that their red 'soul' would appear in battle, like, closer to their chess. Just like both in original games, when encountering monsters, their souls is shown and we control it to dodge attacks. But in this case, they'll have to dodge it themselves to avoid damage(More or less, depends on the monsters they're fighting).

Chara's golden heart locket, I also would like to think that it has some a little music box in it, it plays 'His Theme'(I love the soundtrack so much it makes me want to cry-). And a picture of Asriel and Chara!reader together.

Just twist the knife deeper while you're at it.

Kris and Frisk would both get into silent battles about how they should adequately dodge attacks and the Chain would be none the wiser. Chara would probably rolled their eyes and knock them both over the head. "If you were both true fighters, you'd let your opponent have the honor of squashing you in the process."

I'm imagining some things that Kris!reader, Frisk!reader and Chara!reader would do while traveling with the Chains.

While traveling:

Kris!reader doesn't really talk much and not showing much expression, they only show it through action(not a lot either so Frisk!reader have to help the Chain understanding Kris!reader more).

Frisk!reader showing a bit of expression like a happy, sad, etc. before returning to '-_-' and the most normal one to talk to out of the three.

Chara!reader having much expression and action than the other two but not the best person to get some advice from and maybe mischievous(they can be nice sometimes), but Frisk!reader are already used to them and Kris!reader doesn't really care at all so the Chain will have to get used to it.

Fighting monsters(Not Undertale or Deltarune cause Pacifist):

Kris!reader can change between their Overworld and Dark World outfit, Overworld outfit when they are not in battle, Dark World outfit when in battle. And since they are not in their world, they have no choice but fight back.

I don't know if Frisk!reader wants to fight back since they are from Pacifist route. So it is up to you either they have no choice but to fight back, tried to befriend them or not fight at all.

Chara!reader will definitely fight back when they'll going to fight a monster that is not from their world(Pacifist route) since they have a weapon that is useful for battle even though it's just a knife. But if it's Chara!reader from Genoc!de, let's just say... they'll have a great time. ( =

Weirdest thing they've done:

Kris!reader ate a moss.

Frisk!reader haven't done anything weird.

When Chara!reader can't sleep, they'll sit up and stare at the distance with a '= )' face. If you see them like that at night, they'll stare at you back in silence until you look away(That's not weird, that's scary-).

I actually like the way you've characterized them, especially in their facial expressions and actions.

However, for the sake of fleshing this au out, I want to say that Frisk! doesn't necessarily have to be a pacifist to be that run. They can be a jerk but still not fight or they can fight but keep it a neutral run.

That being said, I also want to point out that if we're keeping Frisk as the pacifist, that not only would they hate it when the Chain attack monsters, I think they're character would serve to really highlight just how messed up their childhoods have been and what would technically be a normal reaction to danger.

Frisk got to stay a kid despite it all (I'm sticking with this idea, I know that it's easily arguable) and because Frisk is so young, I think that it wouldn't only cause tension with the older ones but with the younger ones too.

Especially Wind.

He was younger and could handle it. Why is Frisk the same age (or not) but not able to handle anything? Is Frisk just a baby? Weak? Sensitive?

Wind is a teenage boy, I don't think he'll have the patience to be gentle in regards to a fight. He takes pride in fighting and saving the day. What's Frisk's deal?

Chara kinda has to stay a Genocide run since that's the only one where they more or less have their physical form. (Stolen from Frisk but I digress). So they're going to have the keep the sharp objects away from them for most of the trip anyway.

Mischievous Chara!reader on the action! With a little bit of Kris!reader and Frisk!reader too.

Them secretly "borrowing" Time's Ocarina or any of the Chain's instruments that they can easily play and begin playing 'Undertale'(This also made me cry and seeing the word: "Despite everything, it's still you". T^T) while Kris and Frisk listens to it quietly and calmly, maybe even join in(Like a little band they are). I wonder how the Chain will react to Chara just steals their instruments, Kris and Frisk didn't bother telling them(even joining with Chara) and didn't expect to hear a sad and lovely tune.

Forgive me if I'm misremembering, but does Chara know how to play piano? Or was that Frisk? Because I remember in waterfall, there was a little puzzle with a piano where you play His Theme (I think) and opened up a little thing.

So it wouldn't be that far off to say that Undertale isn't the only song they know. They might be able to actually have a band going on. XD

Of course, since most of the boys are musical nerds, they'd want to know how to play it on their respective instruments. But I don't know how they'd react since I'd consider it a very personal song for them.

I don't know if they'd want to share a part of their soul in that way.

Yellow Hello! I'm back at it again! Instead of Catnap!reader this time, how about the reader is just like the Chains but different? Instead of nine, only the three of them. One is from Deltarune, and two from Undertale. Kris!reader, Frisk!reader and Chara!reader.

So the chain meet three of the "same" person except not really?

They meet Reader, their evil twin and them from an alternate reality. (Or at least someone that looks a lot like them. A doppelganger, if you will.)

I think they would have questions. But also think that no one would be willing to ask them.

Legend might. Because he has nothing to lose and I'd imagine that he's hella nosey.

But like- Time? Warrior? Four? No questions.
