A concept AU/Timeline idea where Sans simply doesn't fall asleep. The Human sticks, incapable of resetting or reloading mid fight, time passing as the world takes a path very similar to the Queen Alphys ending. Nobody dares interfere in the fight in fear that it would end Sans's turn and give the human a chance to do something, and so they simply stand, both in an eternal standstill in the un-maintained hall. Sans was right, he really would stay there even if they had to do so till the end of time.
