Hi I made this account JUST so i can talk about a dream I had about an Undertale route now that I’ve remembered a lot of important details about it. The wording might be the worst thing you’ve ever read but pretend it’s Harvard level writing (for my sake).
So you’d play through true pacifist normally until you get to the true lab were you’d enter a room in-between (like the mystery man room) and there was an entry explaining how to turn on the DT extractor, you’d have to find the other Gaster followers (assuming they showed up no matter what, idk it was a dream) and they’d give you part of the key to turn it on. You’d use the key to power up the DT extractor and nothing would happen and you’d continue how you normally would. Alphys would have new dialogue and give you some sweet, sweet exposition about her relationship with Gaster.
By the time it came where you would fight Asriel, Flowey would be hit by something unseen and you’d see the human souls and a monster soul already breaking the barrier, and there would be a new npc with a red suit and medium-length white hair that wasn’t facing the player and you couldn’t interact with him. He’d only respond to other characters when talking to them. If you talked to somebody else (other than Alphys) they’d basically just say “wow! you broke the barrier AND brought back the old royal scientist!! Thats so swag!” meaning that new npc was W.D Gaster.
