((MUN: I wanted to address to everyone here about my AUs: Rivertale, Riverfell & Riverswap.

My boys, if you haven’t yet figured out, are rather unique. Not only in their designs, but also in their personalities, stories and all the way down to what I’m going to reveal to you today: their speech.

I’m sure you’ve all noticed Delta’s “how do y’do?”, BB’s “how ya doin’?”, and CB’s “How yas doins?” But that is only the blatantly obvious verbiage I decided to fit into their every day speech. I want to reveal to you today... where their accents originate from.

Rivertale (Delta) Papyrus: Irish

Rivertale (BB) Sans: Americanized Irish (sounds very much like Boston/Rhode Island accent)

Riverswap (Meander) Papyrus: Australian

Riverswap (DB) Sans: New Zealand (Aussies will tell you it sounds more American. Americans will tell you it sounds more Australian)

Riverfell (Levee) Papyrus: Russian

Riverfell (CB) Sans: Broken Russian (hence the misplacement of s’s in his words)

((MUN: @thestrangecarrotcake it’s nothing that extreme. However they are considerably less agile than other monsters outside of their AU’s. In speed they’d appear sluggish, take hits more often than others, and would seemingly not attack as frequently as their counterparts. But in reality, due to their “sluggish” movements, a lot of power is placed in a single attack, so gauging when to strike is their best bet outside their universes. They’ll rather take many hits and predict their enemies, than waste their energy on misses.

They’re legitimate tanks, especially the skeletal monsters from each River AU. So no. No kabooms :3 hope this helps!))

@maxladcomics mentioned how it was interesting that Meander didn’t have a Gaster Mark as a baby bone... however Levee and Delta both do-- so in celebration of him seeing this little detail... I drew this hint--
