i haven't been able to exercise for about six months now because of a foot problem, but today i said "screw the foot!" and i finally got some motivation to go on a run (thanks to underthecarolinamoon's post). but anyways...wow, i am so out of shape. it's time to start some fitness goals so i'll be posting about some of those on here! i just want to feel healthy again.

Katie, Alysha, and Becca--I will be writing to ya'll as soon as possible! I've got a busy couple weeks filled with babysitting, working, beginning my transfer application to U of M, and spending as much time with my family before they leave for the summer!

Well…let’s see here. Terms of endearment. If you call me honey, sugar, babe, dear—it’s a weakness. Newborn babies. They make me smile so big but then can easily cause a few tears to fall at how precious and tiny and cuddly they are. Last minute road-trips—I just can’t say no. I also have a weakness for long hikes on cool days, late night ice cream runs, and mugs full of coffee anytime before 11a.m. {or really any time of day}. Other weakness: bearded men with beautiful tattoos, sweet little old married couples, landscapes featuring trees, mountains, water. There’s nothing like sitting across a small cafe table, chatting for hours with a friend who brings a special spark to your life. And when one of my little munchkins runs up to me after getting hurt, arms spread wide, reaching up, falling with complete trust and safety into my arms, laying their head on my shoulder and being soothed by nothing other than my lovin—well, that about does me in.
