sjs: went apple picking at my frisbee teammate's family farm and saw the most idyllic red apple! (and also got some delicious apple cider donuts)

small joys saturday: it's rosh hashanah, and my rabbi gave a sermon that was exactly what i needed to hear, and then there was a lovely group discussion over lunch after services! i am feeling much better about going into the new year!

small joys saturday: I've been a big scaredy cat about night biking by myself, but today I biked to/from work (I work the closing shift that ends after sundown) without incident, so now I am confident in my ability to bike commute and not die!

gonna make a sad lil salad for dinner (lettuce, carrot, parmesan, and dressing) bc i'm traveling this weekend so i need to use up the produce i bought

basically a caesar salad but with extra vitamin C! also traveling is fun omg i hope u have the best time 💛✨ (assuming it's for something good)

happy sjs!!! my cat and my partner's two cats are cohabitating and getting along well (and free roaming the house without adult supervision!) after staying at my partner's house together for 2 weeks while we were on vacation 🥹😻
