The bathymetric survey, often known as the fathometric survey, is a common type of water-based hydrographic survey that allows you to map the in-depth of the sea and share the underwater terrain. This helps to illustrate the land below the water bodies. Te Sidescan Survey works to obtain the seabed image and allow you to identify the anomalies, elevations, and presence of the scour around the submerged structures. In addition, many surveyors use 3D scanning for projects like engineering design, shoreline stabilization, and infrastructure remediations. The bathymetric surveys are required to perform analysis in shallow water and deep waters. Conducting these kinds of surveys becomes easier with the Sidescan survey.
