it was safe to say that evelyn was probably as fucked up or near to as a vampire could get , high on a drug addicts blood and several blood cocktails in. the attacks on mages had her on edge , she was used to being the killer and the fact that there was someone else lurking in the shadows killing supes without a trace. it was really the not knowing that was stressing the red headed vampire out so much.

lottie lifted dark eyes to land on the beautiful girl that had just approached the bar to order something , blinking away tears she decided to speak up , “ excuse me ? “ a dainty hiccup passed red lips and if she could blush she would’ve , “ sorry , i was wondering if you had a safe place to stay ? “ she bit down on her bottom lip and dropped her gaze to the blood stained glass she was gripping , “ not to be a square , i just know things are getting way more serious than i think anyone expected. my place isn’t much , but it’s inconspicuous maybe and safer if there’s two of us. “ 

the vampire had lived on her own without much of anyone for quite some time , but everything going on lately had her actually afraid. it didn’t help that she lived in a pretty shady place as it was , maybe the offer was more for her own good than the other vampire’s well being.
