As much as she enjoyed her time with her mother, being without Hades was a torment. And as soon as she heard what was happening, she said a silent plea that her soulmate would be the God that had held her heart for so long. It took her mother pointing to her wrist to pull her from her troubled thoughts, the black iris emerging from a black skull made her smile softly. Lithe fingers brushed over the smooth skin of her inner wrist where the symbol laid. Surely that could only mean the best possible scenario: Hades had the matching mark. It was far too fitting for them to belong to another. Licking her lips, she excused herself and called to him, begging him to come to her. As much as she knew he hated to travel to the mortal world, she didn’t want to be without him, especially not right then. ❝ I need to know that you share this mark, my love, ❞ she breathed.
