i’ve decided that the majority of the history of the underworld is gonna stay the same, bc i’m too lazy to change it and it’s rather solid.

for quinella i’m gonna make her just power hungry, the whole “eternal beauty” bit is boring and over done. idk i just don’t think she was a well developed villain in the first place. maybe i’ll just make her a selfish royal.

a part of me is torn in making vecta and the dark knight evil or not, because so many of the dark territory characters want peace. so maybe i’ll just make them weary of the light empire instead and make some of the plot about forming peace and the difficulties of it, bc of what quinella did.

and also alice and eugeo get to be happy together nothing bad happens to them bc, what happened to eugeo was dumb.

also bercouli is my dad now. so there’s gonna be conflict between my s/i and alice bc she also sees bercouli as a dad & my s/i feels they have to earn their place bc they’re not royal like alice or many of the other knights.

hi manda! thank you for the ask! i’ve decided to dip my toes back into my ocs, mainly the little comfort one where i’m ripping characters from s.a.o and doing what i want with them, lol. this time, with fannar!

✨ fannar palladino is an oc that’s transformed from bercouli from s.ao! i have a little fantasy story in my head that i’m sorta slowly ripping from the series and fannar is one of them! he’s the captain of the guard for the kingdom of aellius, and the one who finds sigrid and takes him in. i imagine him pretty similar to bercouli bc i love the guy a lot. laid back in nature, hopeful for the future, and protective of his family and friends. he’s a pretty good teacher to both sigrid and adelaide (my version of alice), with sigrid being his adoptive child and adelaide being a friend’s daughter who he trains!

i also imagine fannar having ice elemental powers, again like bercouli. but i see him as more skeptical of the queen in power, trying to guide his students to see the leading class as fallible and willing to use who they can to gain what they want. more cynical and less weirdly in love, y’know?

i think it’s funny that my little s.ao au/rewrite with the alice charas had become such a comfort to me like i’ve been v stressed because of the move and i’ve just turned to all my little notes and writing on it and it’s made me feel so much better

Here are very lazy maps of the new and improved Underworld! The Light Empire (aka Human Empire, but that’s dumb to only have humans there so I added elves & fairies & the such) on the left and the Dark Territory in the right!

I took a few place names from the anime, but most of these I had to come up with myself. As well as the layout for the map, because the previous world design was very boring.

I’ll be tagging this world development as #underworld building, so those who don’t want to see it can blacklist it.
