Belle felt bad honestly- but after confronting Rumpelstiltskin she had to find Will. She had to let him know what was going on. She couldn’t have the guilt of her singular night with Rumple between them. She wanted to clear the air or have him get angry and yell at her… whatever it was that happened she needed to know where she stood. Honestly, Will was her closest friend lately. Though that was understandable due to the fact that they’d been dating.
And so she found herself standing outside of Will’s house. What she was going to say she wasn’t sure. But Belle realized things never really ended., She realized things with Rumple were completely over for good now. There was absolutely no coming back from what he’d done. She should have followed her head when her heart was too blind to realize. Now, Will would probably end up hating her - but at least she was honest.
She brought a hand up to gently knock on the door. It was silly, but she’d worn his favorite dress and styled her hair ever so. Deep down she hoped he would forgive her. That maybe they could smooth things over. He deserved more of a chance than she’d given him and she regretted telling Rumple she didn’t love Will. She’d been wrong, and seeing him the other day had made her realize her feelings may have run deeper than she’d thought.
