He just quickly... ran back to the mansion to faint, blinded by every light happening and probably deaf for a couple of days.

Alright, this wasn’t a pain. Sonic noticed the spiderbot walk towards him, but… it was time for a bit of fun, though he was running a bit low on chaos energy.
And time to avert expectations.
He started to run, stopping at a safe distance a bit after. He was fast enough to outpace the robot’s crawl.
