Somewhere after Midnight (Matthew and Ogre)
It seemed as if spending almost a month with Ogre while on tour wasn’t enough for Matthew anymore. Being so busy touring with his other bands the rest of the time, the guitarist really treasured any time he had with the singer, especially after they became closer to each other. And it seemed like each time Matthew saw Ogre, he fell more deeply in love with him. He hated how rare the occasions they could spend together were while they were on tour, since the schedule was so busy and chaotic. And when Matthew wasn’t touring with another band, he used his free time to travel around the world. He couldn’t really blame Ogre for not going out with him more since he was the one who was too busy for him.
It was common for Matthew to think a lot about the singer every time a tour ended, especially after admitting his feelings. His heart ached with the longing, even though they had seen each other literally days before. He missed his voice, his smile, his jokes and deep talks, the warmth of his hug (which really was the best hug in the world), the scent he left on his clothes every time they hugged, the surprising depth and passion of his kisses. He wanted that again. Glancing at the time on his phone, Matthew thought it was maybe a bit too late in the evening to call him. As he got on Facebook to mindlessly scroll through his feed and try to ignore the feeling in his chest, he saw that Ogre was on. Smiling, he dialed up his phone.
“Hey!” Matthew began as Ogre picked up the phone, rolling over on his bed. “Sorry for calling, I know it’s late, but I saw you were on, so... Uh, I don’t know. What’s up? Are your dogs keeping you up or something?” He chuckled.
