Whatever the reason was now, Zhang Liao didn't know of it. Instead, he kept his head low much like the humble servant he illustrated himself to be, swallowing thickly as his mind whirred with solutions he'd never had such trouble acquiring before.

He called out to the man again, having not heard why he had walked into his room. Xu Shu then asked, "Is something wrong?"
