do you ever think about how undyne made the piano puzzle? about how, in order to solve it, you need to go out of your way to help someone in need rather than use an umbrella for yourself? she's not a big fan of puzzles -- she's more of a japes gal. and it was mostly an excuse to put a piano there so she could play it. but. in the puzzle she designed, you get the music box to play by giving the statue your umbrella to protect it from rain. it's not an intellectual exercise, it's not something you need to reason out as having a reward in mind. someone's hurting, so you help them. it's very undyne, i think.
