Can you believe I met you like, 8 months ago and was like .... “We should write Mary and Nathan” and now flash forward here we are, thick as thieves? Nevermind find we never actually really wrote them but that’s okay they will continue to forever be one of my favorite ships tbh. 

Not to get really deep but almost losing you was one of the times I’ve been most scared in my whole life? ( which while not super long, ngl I’ve experienced a lot of scary shit and this definitely is up at the top, right next to getting run over and meeting my dad’s stepwife??? ). Point is, now that I’ve met you and had a chance to get close to you and love you as much as I do, I hope we never stop being friends. A Laceyless world is not a good one, and I’m sure there’s a bunch of other people that would agree with me.

Historical fun fact: Mary actually snuck her (small) dog to her execution with her, under her skirts, and when the spectators cheered (yuck!) after Mary was beheaded, the doggo ran out to see what the commotion was about

But, okay, I firmly believe that it is difficult to anger Aylee, but she is absolutely ferocious when she gets mad. Like, if she had lived and heard Mary and Francis were having issues, she would 100% march up to Francis in all her 5″2′ glory and just wag her finger in his face like “listEN HERE, MISTER”
