welcome. this blog will be an ever revolving thing of what i want it to be.

today i will write something that is especially bothering me. women are not pawns. neither are men. but i’m tired of people- mostly men in this case- of thinking that i am a pawn for them to use. that i am someone they can just use. it hurts the most when a close friend does something like this.

my biggest pet peeve is when guys assume that i will sleep with them. ‘i could have fucked her if i wanted to’. yikes. hate to ruin your ego there buddy, but i wouldn’t. and it is wrong for you to assume so.

i would like to think that i wouldn’t make such assumptions for men either, but who knows. all i know is that it feels dirty to be talked about in such a way. it feels wrong. and above all, i feel disrespected.

did you ask me if i would sleep with you? did i tell you that i wanted to?

no.

so why assume so?

this is something that i will never understand.
