Layla: So...did you decide to join glee? Also you should join the AV club, we convinced them they obviously have no organisation system, or technical skills and need to redo their entire system.
Layla: Being grounded is a piece of cake. Just join clubs and then do nothing in said clubs.

SUMMARY Injured and grounded the twins are listening to audiobooks when Wyatt decides it’s time to talk about the high elephant in the room. Will he give his blessing? Will Layla care? What will they do when their ice packs melt? Read to find out!
TRIGGERS –
Wyatt fidgeted with his sling, really wishing he could just take it off, but coach was pissed off enough as it was. Usually when him and Layla did something dumb it was their parents who ran through the house like a freaking tornado, but this time it was coach. An angry angry Kiwi of a man, who definitely almost quit on them. Of course riding falling off of a Llama wasn't the worst thing that happened last night. Not by a long shot. Brooks kissing Layla right in front of him was definitely the worst part, and he'd never experienced so much blind rage in his life, and while he'd have been delighted to fuck Brooks up...again, it was effecting Layla and that wasn't okay. Looking at his sister, Wyatt just wanted her to be happy, even if that meant Brooks. "So you really like him. Brooks I mean. You actually like like him."
Layla looked up from where she'd been re-positioning her ice pack, stifling a laugh at the sight the two of them made. She'd been just about to make a joke, easy conversation like they always had when he mentioned Brooks. "Um..." She shrugged, her eyes wide as she tried to find something to say. She wasn't uncomfortable talking to Wyatt, she was just worried about what this conversation was going to entail. "I don't__I mean yes, I do like him. I mean...I don't know." She shrugged, playing with her fingers awkwardly. "I mean, he was the person I lost my virginity too and I feel some kind of way about that, I guess."
Wyatt could understand where Layla was coming from. He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel something toward Fiona for the same reasons, but Layla seemed more interested in exploring what it all meant and trying out the whole dating thing. I mean, she'd probably be good at it, she was the best person he knew and while he didn't think Brooks deserved it, if it's what she wanted, if it made her happy then he wouldn't make her choose. "Yeah, I... I get that, I think." Taking in a deep breath before continuing he couldn't believe what he was about to do. "If you like him enough to want to date him then.... okay."
Layla looked at him in slight shock, she hadn't expected him to say that, at least not right now anyway. She knew he put her needs first, but that depended on whether he felt he was seeing what she needed better than she was. She was the exact same way. "You read the letter huh?" She glanced at him knowingly, she'd left it out for him anyway, she didn't have secrets from Wyatt. "I do like him...but you know I'll choose you, I'll always choose you. I don't want this to make you think you're not first."
Wyatt had in fact read the letter and he'd spent a bit of time thinking how to handle the whole thing, but ultimately he wanted her happy and he knew she would pick him, he did. Even after everything they'd been through, everything he'd put them through, they still came first with each other. However, if was nice to have verbal confirmation that what he thought he knew was in fact 100% truth. After all, logic and facts were his comfort. Well, facts, logic and Layla. "All I ever want is for you to be happy. For one night I can suck it up. For you and no one else, I can give him a chance to prove me wrong, and you know how much I despise giving people chances." Scooting closer to her, he wrapped and arm around her and actually initiated a, God help him, twuddle.
Layla smiled, tears springing to her eyes as he spoke. She was so happy they were back to them again, she'd been so afraid of bringing up the Brooks issue because she would give him up, if she had to for Wyatt she'd do it, but that didn't mean she wanted to. "You're really okay with it?" She murmured, smiling happily as he went in for a twuddle, burrowing into his familiar frame. He was her best friend, the best person in the world as far as she was concerned and him being happy was the most important thing.
Wyatt recognized the tears as happy and not sad, and honestly that had made whatever regret he was feeling about mentally agreeing to this date, just melt away. Nothing brought him more joy or made him feel more self assured than her smile. Sighing he nodded, "Yeah, yeah I'm okay with it. I mean he's never going to be my favorite person, but if dating him is something you're interested in, I don't want to stop you from that." Kissing the top of her head, he felt like this was progress, they were better than before. "Um... i evol uoy."
Layla: At the risk of being one of those girls, which by the way I resent being. I haven't heard from you and I am concerned over whether or not you're still breathing.
Layla: Against my will, I have an invested interest in whether or not you're breathing. So if you are able to inform me on the breathing situation, that would be good.
