It took Layla a little longer than fifteen minutes to get home, having to frantically sew the tiny weights into the lining of her clothes in case the Doctor wanted to weigh her. But as she walked through the door, throwing her gym kit by the stairs she was hit with the immediate urge to find her pops and make up. “Papa?” She called out, smiling slightly as she saw him and throwing her arms around his waist. “Hi. I’m sorry we had a fight, let’s not do that again. I was in a bad mood, I’m sorry.”
