Context she’s talking to her boss about a murder-
“Wild held out his hand. ‘Partners? In crime or crime-solving, whatever comes first.’
Jack smiled widely and took his hand. ‘Partners.’ ”

I just noticed that the first two Wild Stories books started with a phone call.

Hello!!! Chapter Fifteen is out!!! The last official chapter of the story though there is an epilogue coming out tomorrow!
This is amazing!!
Thank you to all of the people on here who supported this story, especially a few other writers who have been just awesome this whole time. I definitely wouldn't have been so motivated to keep working on this if y'all hadn't expressed an interest and I cannot express how much I love youse. <3
Sorry for not posting a chapter yesterday, the internet went down! Anyway, chapters 4 & 5 of Unexplained Happenings are out now.
Read Chapter Four: Into the Woods from the story Wild Stories 2- Unexplained Happenings by AloenoMoore (Aloe Vera) with...
"They made their way up the twisting stairs, excitement growing with every echoing step.
Till pushed open a similar door at the top of the stairs, and led them to the small balcony at the top of the lighthouse. She walked around it, admiring the way the town lay spread on one side of the structure, the ocean lazily curling on the other.
It felt so open and free, a world of possibilities, and here she was on the top of it. "
Me trying to post the next chapter: Okay so it's a bit cringe but if you don't post the cringe chapter you'll never get to the cool ones. Just bite the bullet mate.
This is a "If you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best" kinda situation-
Also me: But it's so cringe tho...
Me re-reading the chapter a few weeks from now: Oh this is great! :)
Honestly this line:
"Jack said, earnestly out of his depth."
is the most relatable thing I've ever written.
"Though it seemed like much longer, as time moved in a strange jolting way like a wounded animal."
