Chimera Shadow has 2 sets of inhibitors. Original set is like canon, it regulates his chaos energy. Without them he can implode.
The second set are for his Doom Powers. If he uses them too much without them on, he corrupts and probably looks something like this-

The reason why he doesn’t implode or corrupt in that other form I showed is because the energy is equally balanced I guess? I don’t exactly know how to explain it rn.
With his inhibitors on he has a cooldown effect every time he uses his Doom Powers. It can take hours to days to weeks to use some abilities again, all depends on how powerful they are. THIS is why.
Or at least that’s the idea rn. Trying to come up with some Dark Sonic concepts rn too because Super Forms work differently in this AU.
