[Steve]: Nah probably not. [Steve]: I’m bringing popcorn to microwave and my Golden Girls box set. As he pressed send, Steve stood, smiling to himself in the dim light of Friday night’s evening. Bare feet padded across the apartment, making way first towards the cupboard to retrieve the popcorn bag, next to the bookshelf by the patio door for the box set, and last to his bedroom, wrapping himself in the quilt he dubbed his favourite. Phone in one hand, the box set and popcorn in the other, the blonde crept out into the hallway with blanket cape in just his boxers and a t-shirt.
[Steve]: Open up buttercup.
Hearing his cell go off, Bucky scoops it up as eyes scan over the texts before promptly replying.
[Bucky:] Gimme a few? I'm gunna hop in the shower.
And he thinks he's pressed the send button before he leaves his cell sitting on the table as he makes way for the bathroom, door being being pulled closed behind him as he strips his shirt off and tosses it off to the side before turning on the faucet and adjusting the temperature accordingly. Fingers seek out the button of his jeans then, unbuttoning them and then unzipping them as he shimmies his way out of said jeans and his boxers, testing the water and finding it just right before he steps inside and little does he know that Steve's about to be knocking at his door.
And his phone is ringing right as he's working shampoo into his hair, but of course the sound of running water drowns out the sound of ringing cellular and Bucky continues about his way - luckily, however, his showers are relatively quick. Rinsing suds from brunette locks, he then reaches for blue loofah, pouring some bodywash on it before lathering up his body and rinsing. Shutting off the water, he grabs the towel from the rack and dries off his hair, moving to absorb the remnants of water rolling down his skin before wrapping the towel around his waist. Flicking the light off, he slips out of the bathroom, moseying into the living room where he notices his phone flashing and he assumes it's Steve just saying alright but when he looks over it he sees that his text didn't send and-- shit.
Rushing to the door, he swung it open, "Geez Steve, how long've you been standin' out here!? You could've just come in!" With a roll of his eyes, he sighed, ushering the blond inside.
