dear  friend  now  in  the  dusty  clockless  hours  of  the  night  when  the  streets  lie  black    &&    brumous  in  the  schism  of  purgatory    &&    life  when  dwellers  of  scheol  slue  up  in  the  lee  of  walls  in  nightblanched  alleys    &&    cats  go  forth  highshouldered    &&    proud  in  delusions  of  eutrophication  in  the  perimeters  about  ,    in  these  sootblacked  brick  or  cobble  corridors  where  lightwire  shadows  make  a  gothic  harp  of  cellar  doors  no  soul  shall  walk  save  you .
