His shift had been over for the last hour or so. He had been taking a stroll before he headed home. He could get some gaming videos done before going to bed as the sun rose.
He had stopped by a convenience store for a packet of cigarettes. He could indulge. Not many people were around at this time of night. He leaned against a nearby wall so he could smoke one of them.
His nose then picked up the scent of someone else. Someone young. He wasn’t all that concerned. If they were a troublemaker, they would quickly learn he wasn’t worth the trouble.
