Nyssala's heart skipped a beat at the proposal, and her head snapped in Felyn's direction, wide eyes caught between awe and the fear that it was just a joke. For the briefest moment, she studied Felyn's expression, searching for any hint to indicate whether she was serious or just jesting. No, there wasn't time for that. She needed to seize this opportunity; there might not be another. If it turned out to be a joke, she could just laugh it off later, right? After all, as a wise poet once said, it's better to regret than to die wondering what could've been. In a blink, she practically launches herself toward the other woman. She cups Felyn's face with both hands as their lips meet, as if afraid she might disappear into thin air at any moment.
Felyn wasn't entirely sure how Nyssala was going to take her suggestion. She wasn't even sure how she was going to take it if the other drow took her up on it. But she didn't have much time to think about that before Nyssala pretty much tackled her and grabbed her face, planting her lips against Felyn's.
She was quick to react, however, with her own enthusiasm as she placed her hands on Nyssala's hips, holding her close and steady to the ranger. Felyn prolonged the kiss, parting her lips to test the waters with her tongue, moving her hands from the other woman's hips to rest on the small of her back.
A million thoughts raced through her head, but she didn't focus on any of them. She focused on Nyssala and the way she felt, tasted, smelt, experiencing everything about her she could in that moment of the kiss.
Slowly she let it linger and slip away as she pulled back, a grin on her lips as she looked at the other drow, pale pink eyes sparkling with joy. "Tension broken, I think..."
