I JUST HAD AN IDEA IF I HAVE ENOUGH TIME AND RESOURCES I COULD TAKE OVER AN ENTIRE ROOM AT THE EXTERNAL SHOW AND MAKE FRANKENSTEIN'S LAB WITH PROPS AND FURNITURE ETC. WITH THE COSTUMES BEING THE MAIN SET PIECES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
i think at this stage in the project the stories i’m considering most seriously are:
frankenstein (obviously)
the yellow wallpaper
bluebeard
the advantage of frankenstein is that there’s a lot more characterisation of the characters because the story is longer, HOWEVER the cast is bigger so i would either have to make a lot more costumes OR narrow it down to just a few of them. another thing is that it’s my absolute fave so i feel like i would love working on it a lot more than the other two stories
the other two stories are shorter which is nice, and the yellow wallpaper has a lot of potential in terms of fabric pattern and garment construction to reflect the story’s progress (and i could get away with making costumes just for one character), on the other hand bluebeard has a lot of blood which is GR9 and a tiny cast, plus it’s not really adapted that much???????
on the other hand i could make links in the victor + henry costumes to show They Gay
okay so for my final project i want to illustrate a ~*~spooky story~*~ using costume (currently what i really want to do most tbh) but like i'm a bit stuck for stories at the moment i'm considering the yellow wallpaper (lots of potential in terms of fabric pattern!!) and frankenstein bc it's my fave and i'm also looking at potential grimm's fairy tales because why not (and they're short!) but basically if any of you have any short story of the spooky kind suggestions then please throw them in my direction and i will be eternally grateful!!!!!!!

i’m like halfway to my word count goal it’s okay if i don’t get to 4000 words because 3000 words will do just as well so don’t stress out self you can do it
IMPORTANT DISSERTATION QUESTION
what would you consider a sherlock fandom meme? asking bc i want to show examples of tumblr-wide memes as well as memes on a smaller scale (eg. particular fanbases etc.)
i'm so tired but i'm also super awake and i have my first dissertation tutorial tomorrow which i am DREADING but tbh there's not much more i can do before tomorrow so i just gotta go and do it i guess
blah i’m definitely not gonna get 2000 words done before 5pm tomorrow especially since i have a dissertation talk to go to as well but i think i should be fine if i just more or less outline what i wanna do?????????
