I keep forgetting that my birthday's tomorrow bc I've just been stressing about the lab exam on monday and my back to back finals next friday. (My school really likes scheduling ochem and biochem finals on the same day every semester.) Pls send help. Or freeze time so I have more time to study.
Anthro exam in 40 mins. Biochem exam at 4PM. Tox exam tomorrow at 4PM. Kill me pls.
Let the week of hell begin. 18 - biochem2 lab exam (6-8PM) 21 - physics lab (2:30-5:30PM) 22 - anthropology final (12-3PM) 22 - biochem2 final (4-7PM) 23 - toxicology final (4-7PM)
I am so fucking mad rn. Biochem labs are the bane of my existence. I got marks taken off my Mats and Methods for not explaining what SP-Sephadex and SDS-PAGE are, and for not elaborating on the staining and imaging process. Bc I fucking ran out of words. There was a 300 word limit. *screams into the void* Oh and "this table will only be used to check your calculations." MY ASS. If it was just calculations you're checking for, why was I marked off for my table headings? THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE FEEDBACK BACK ON TIME. I'm fucked for the first 4 reports bc I never got the marked reports until yesterday. The one due next week is the last one. Can we please get the fucking bullshit rubric the markers are using for these reports? Or are they just spinning a roulette wheel to see what they can take marks off from? I'm 80% sure I'm gonna need to retake this fucking course in the summer. FML.
My biochem lab instructor decided it was a great idea to put the two hardest labs at the beginning of the semester. Those two labs also have the lab reports worth the most marks. Have you heard of a thing called acclimatization? It applies to university students as well as fish in plastic bags.
Go to bed now and study tomorrow or force myself awake to study before going to sleep...? Eh. I'm sleeping.
I wonder what it's like to go through life and be able to function normally...that must be nice.
I have a midterm this Thursday and i haven't even started studying yet, lmao. It's all multiple choice but i'm probably still gonna fail it bc it's biochem and they like making our lives difficult.
