It’s been a long time since I’ve read the series he was in. Back to the Wiki we go!
So according to this, he was a pretty kind-hearted and well-tempered cat, with friendly relations with pretty much everyone - Squirrelpaw even calls him her best friend at the time. He was close with his family and looked out for his younger siblings quite a bit, especially in StarClan. He was the one to explain things to them and was even indirectly showing them how to fight when he was playing with Whitepaw. They held a high opinion of him, which suggests that he was quite good with younger cats, even as an apprentice.
It makes sense to me that, were he in the Redux’s naming system, he would have been called Shrewpath. He’d be an excellent mentor, I’m positive.
