cinemaocd, bless her, thinks I am wrong because I think French Army Hats are prissy and unattractive. Even the twin pillars of godlike actorly genius that are Michael Redgrave and Anton Walbrook cannot make them attractive. LOOK! Give me Anton in a German army cap anyday! Or Roger in a British Army cap, or an RAF cap (now I have forgotten if Torquil is in the RAF but I can't be arsed to check. Soz, Rog.) The extent of my knowledge of uniforms extends only to how hot my favourite gents look in them.
