Updated ref for the Unicorn!AU along with finally giving Marinette an official non-hero outfit.

Marinette

Originally was supposed to have a long skirt, but decided on shorts with stockings/leggings.

Color is less saturated compared to canon palette.

Hair is down as the pigtails did not go well with the headband.

Tall boots since she’s clumsy in civilian form, so layers to keep her skin from being scratched up is vital to her.

Thin undershirt to help hinder arm scratching.

Sweater is baggy due to stress tugging.

Uniique

Changed some of the Story Book kwami rules. (down below)

Their holder’s outfit now completely cover their face and use the kwami’s voice during transformed time.

The only giveaways to identity someone under the mask are small details. ex. Mari’s hair, body type, etc.

Uniique’s weapon is their horn, which can be pulled out as a whip/ribbon wand.

The wand acts like Ladybug’s yoyo, where she can use it to reach areas, travel large gaps, wrap enemies, and defend herself.

The ribbon can vary upon her needs to attack or travel, and will dissolve the ribbon when she reapplies her horn to her mask.

Colors to her outfit have also updated since Unii was updated herself. Keeping with the kwami color palette rule.

Updated rules to the Story Book Kwami

Kwami now take control of the outfit. Opposite to the Miracle Box kwami who let their holders create their own disguises on how they view a hero’s outfit.

The Story Book kwami are medieval/mythos based, and such prefer nods to their roots or straight up knightly cosplay.

Their limit is tied to a user’s knowledge of their power and experience. The more a user becomes in tune with their assigned kwami, the more perks they receive.  ex. Unlike the Miracle Box kwami, who have en entire book dedicated to their lore and spells needed to boost their power- The Story Book kwami are in their respective book and such are able to trigger certain powers when situations require it. ex ex. Having a snowstorm related akuma will prompt the Story Book kwami to shift their user’s form to best combat the cold.

Their special abilities are timed at first, but once a user comes fully in tune, then the power is only limited by the energy of their holder. ex. The Unicorn’s “Purify” can be strong enough to restore all of Paris, or weak enough to barely restore a dented car.

Kwami can and will take over their user’s body and mind in a “Panic Mode”, which is only able when the user is unable to properly function in a battle and is alone/singled out from their teammates. ex. Caww, the Crow Kwami, could take over Nino’s body to quickly remove the boy from a dangerous situation when taking too much damage.

The Story Book kwami do not explain their limits. As a different set of kwami, they do not believe their users should ever have complete control over them. So in cases they do find themselves with a bad user, they can and will lie to separate their miraculous from their holder and escape at the soonest moment.
