i think a lot of people hear “get rid of homework” and think that means keeping school exactly as is and just removing the homework aspect. which is obviously not viable, right? if we’re going to teach kids how to write an essay, they need to have time to... write that essay. or for example, math is simply impossible to learn from lecture alone, you need to have time to solve problems independently. the obvious solution is to expand study hall time to allow students to do what was previously homework. but people don’t want to hear that, because then you would have to recreate the curriculum to accommodate less lecture time

Do you ever feel ashamed to be a writer? I don't mean that in an offensive way, but like have you ever felt like your writing isn't good enough in such a way that you start questioning your writing skills in general? I feel like I have.....Like, I'm just losing my spark :P I feel as though I don't have it in me anymore.....

I'm not depressed about it though, I'm just doubting my skills like any writer -3-
