UNINIVERSE CLAIMING POST

The claiming post has finally arrived! For those who are already familiar with how our fest works, simply fill out the claiming form. (link is at the very bottom of this post)

But before browsing through our Prompt Archive and filling out the Claiming Form, please read through our Claiming Rules down below, first!

♡ By claiming a prompt, you are agreeing to following the rules of the fest and committing yourself to meeting the deadlines.

♡ Claiming of prompts is on a first come, first served basis. There will be an option for a second and/or third choice just in case your first choice is taken.

♡ There are no limits to the number of prompts you can claim but you can only claim them one at a time. You must submit the output of your first prompt before claiming another.

♡ You are allowed to claim your own prompt. Just fill out the claiming form’s self-prompt option. ♡ Although we highly discourage this, should you need to drop out at any time, please let us know through our email ([email protected]) and we’ll put the prompt you claimed back up for claiming.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will be a bit stricter with the deadlines/extensions this time. For extensions, we will only give one week ensuing the actual deadline (so if you can’t meet the deadline and would like to extend it, please inform any of the mods ASAP.) This is because the final submissions date is set on the month of December that is considered a long holiday for the rest of us, which means participants have an ample amount of time to finish and polish their works.

Claiming period starts today, the 2nd of September, and will close on the 9th. We will try our best to distribute the confirmation emails as soon as we can on the 10th so please be sure to check your email from time to time!

UNINIVERSE BONUS ROUND

After our successful first round, the mods are thrilled to let you know that we will be holding our first bonus round!

So you're probably wondering. What's a "Bonus Round"? You could say it is the postscript of our first round. The rules and guidelines remain unchanged (except for a few select ones) and will apply for the duration of the round; however, the timeline will be very brief, narrowed down to four months as this is only a shortened period of the fest and not an actual round. 

The goal of this round is to open up opportunities for:

♡ Round One participants (both writers and fanartists) who wish to write and submit more Bottom!Jongin fics/fanarts (please take note that you are not obligated to join the bonus round since it is optional)

♡ Those who wanted to partake in Round One but weren't able to because: 

The fest already kicked off and it was too late  

You were busy/committed to other fic fests 

♡ Those who want to claim prompts that have been dropped

♡ The first round dropouts who want to continue the same prompt/write a new one (please notify us asap if you wish to claim your old prompt as we've put all dropped prompts up for claiming again)

♡ Anyone who loves Bottom!Jongin and wants to participate!

TIMELINE:

♡ Claiming period (Date: 2nd - 9th September)

♡ Claiming closed/confirmation message (Date: 10th September) ♡ Progress Check-in (Date: 5th - 11th November) ♡ Deadline of submissions (Date: 16th December) ♡ Postings: TBA (There will be no reveals for this round as it is only a bonus one. We will only consider doing reveals when it comes to main rounds)

UNINIVERSE will follow the Korea Standard Time (KST).
