Are you ready to see uni in a new light? Light painter Andrew Willis is helping us light up your Open Day by bringing his light painting art to our campus.
How do you create a light painting?
Andrew captures these beautiful images using a super simple object. Can you guess what it is?
It’s an old bicycle wheel! This combined with long exposure techniques create photos like the incredible work of art below.
How to get your own light pic
Don’t miss out on getting your own light painting pic right here at Open Day! Come by the light painting tent under the arch to light up your Open Day.
No matter where you call your home, we all now live in a global world. Because of this, leaving university with global experience is incredibly valuable, and something that many university students don’t have the opportunity to gain. But at Bond, we want to make sure you leave university ready to go wherever the world calls you. Take a peek at what some of our students from different programs have been doing all across the world.
Law students in Hong Kong
This March, Bond law students travelled to Hong Kong for the International Red Cross Moot, debating more than 24 teams from the Asia-Pacific region. Not only did they have the chance to show off their skills in front of judges from the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, but they also walked away with the first place trophy!
International Relations students in Canada
In March, the Bond Model United Nations Team travelled to Montreal, Canada for the World Model United Nations Conference. They not only got to put their knowledge and skills learned in class to the test, but they also had the opportunity to meet students from around the world, from France to Venezuela and Japan to Iran. On top of attending the conference, the students had the chance to visit New York City for a tour of the United Nations Security Council, sitting in on a government panel and meeting several high-ranking government officials.
Project Management students in Japan
To take their learning experience WAY outside the classroom, seven Master of Project Management students travelled to Japan as part of their International Project Management class. This experience helped students gain a deeper insight into social, environmental and cultural considerations of project management.
Medicine students in the Solomon Islands
Our Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine students, Samson, Navtej and Joshua, share their experience in Kirakira and discuss how the opportunity has shaped their view of practising medicine.
