It’s hilarious to me that studio execs are threatening us with no new shows or movies because of the strike.
Well those dumbasses have spent the last several years flooding the entertainment market with so many shows and movies, it is going to take years for any of us to catch up. I’m happy for nothing new to come out while these execs sweat it out.
(And I do not condone piracy cause that hurts the smaller creators and the backend people far more than it hurts execs, but since the studios aren’t paying anyone atm... wink, wink)
I don’t want the strike to last for years because that will be too much of a hardship on the writers, actors, and all the behind the scenes workers. I wanna see those guys be able to work, but only if they are being paid and treated fairly.
So go ahead, Bobbie boy, with hold that new Marvel movie or series. Thanks to your shitty practices of writers rooms and overtaxing CGI workers, I’m okay to miss them. We’re all good here.
