My geographically accurate suggestion for that 'Celtic Union' flag
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The 'Celtic Union' flag was on the frontpage today, but it didn't look right to me. The redesign references the geographic positions of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, going from Southwest to Northeast. It also uses the correct colors from both the Irish and Scottish flag, and gives equal weight to the two big partners. While the Irish might be happy that their original flag is still legible at the left, the Scots might appreciate the overall shape referencing their original flag. Just kidding, everyone would probably hate it, just like the Celtic Union idea. But it looks nice.
