Generous portions and juicy steak. Love the sautéed mushrooms and the creamy mushroom sauce. There was broccolini, asparagus and kale for the seasonal greens. The sweet potato crisps on top of the steak were crispy and added that crunchy element. Such a satisfying and balanced meal. We had the Cajun calamari as tapas to share. It is dusted in their spicy seasoning with lime and basil aioli, served with a light salad. Finished most of these and I love the slightly tangy salad (cherry tomatoes, crunchy capsicum and rocket) which balanced out the crumbed calamari. First time visiting Mindarie Marina and the views of the clear blue skies and clear sparkling water were so relaxing. Union Kitchen offers both indoor and outdoor seating (we chose a table which was outdoors but shaded 😆), has an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and is a pet-friendly restaurant. They have a dog menu too.
