Elijah had been rattling on about something for a while now, so he'd decided to ignore her, just to see what she'd do. But also maybe because he didn't understand a word of what she was talking about so..
Of course he jumped a bit and blinked in surprise when he looked and she was suddenly in his face. Taking a minute to process the situation, Dande raised his hands in a sign of surrender before he spoke, grinning like an idiot at his friend.
