Support our motion to BAN "having fun" tomorrow at the student union
Please vote YES at the student union tomorrow to help ensure that our motion to ban "having fun" is ratified by the University Student Society for Reform (USSR). For too long have we allowed right wing zealots to partake in oppressive activities such as (1) listening to/playing music, much of which glamourises violence, crass capitalist consumerism and the objectification of women; (2) watching television/films, many of which glorify war, rape and vigilantism [channel 4 will be exempt, as will art-house films provided that they are rubber-stamped by the USSR's Representative for Truth] and (3) clubbing, a shameless enterprise whereby women are sold to men in exchange for alcohol, with all of the profits going to capitalist fat-cats.
