I do not agree with you

Our beliefs do not match 

You dare say that our uniqueness in how we think 

Should keep us apart

What are you afraid of

I do not carry a plague

Well I can only speak for myself

So maybe it is you

You are a breathing ground 

For ignorance and hate

And while I think it is oh so nice 

That you are aware that you taint 

And wish to keep me free of such stain 

I believe that if you would give it a chance 

Maybe I can free you of those burdens 

Make you unsuitable for such ugliness to reside 

 Just give me a chance 

We do all have the same liquid 

Coursing furiously through our arteries 

And flowing slowly in our veins

That is one thing that unites us 

So lets overlook what divides us 

Because in no way are we really divided
