The character death that was the worst for me: Chas’ every death. Also Gary.

So I re-watched the entirety of The Librarians again because I clearly hate myself. I just figured out that if you watch it solely for Jenkin's facial expressions, it makes the series even better.

I suppose I can see that. Plus, she was ready to die for country, why not be ready to die to save the world, right? I just have to think some part of her wasn't ready - hell, she'd been a guardian for what, a few months? I'm not quite sure she got totally used to saving the world (Twice before Friday) when all she did before was take down terrorists. But her character arc is soso important to me.

there’s definitely growth in there but i see your point, i just hope they explore more of this near death thing in the season 2 character arc (y’know, IF WE GET IT)

But can we just talk about how much freaking sense it all made too. Not a lot of the weirdness, just the Librarians kicking ass all throughout. (Also, I'm pretty sure Kane enjoyed that kiss) There's just one pressing question: Eve was smiling when she was stabbed. Do you think she was perfectly content to die for the Librarian? I do somewhat, but she was a kickass NATO girl. I doubt she was fully content.

This is my opinion here. Eve is a Guardian. She may not have known what that entailed fully before but she does now. In every timeline, she hears that she dies to save a Librarian, regardless of which one. Jenkins, Judson, Charlene have been telling her from the very beginning, Guardians protect the Librarians. Even Morgan le Fay reinforced the fact that Guardians were not very valued, only seen as support for the Librarians. She's been putting the Librarians/LITs + everyone else in the entire world (Santa ep) before herself; she already has that protector mentality. But her own role as Guardian is not just to protect the Librarian but to protect HER Flynn, and that was why I think she was content to die saving him. But that's just me
