Blackshaw Moor and the view ( down the valley) towards the market town of Leek. To the left is the open moorland, once used as an Army firing range and to the right the spectacular rock formations of the Winking Man and Rashaw rocks. Its a remote place and when the wind blows and the weather rolls in, you certainly know about it. On this particular morning, the only real challenge presented was that big yellow ball in the sky.
