what’s up what’s up what’s up welcome to my unirondack blog!

you can call me emmett over here (one of my many names), though i’m mainly known at camp (and everywhere else on the internet) as achilles!

i’m a fourth year camper, going to sessions 3-7 including two trips and a mini trip! (ehehe i’m setting a record for most trips gone on by a camper in one summer)

my favourite cabin is smith. woodsquad > sweet. the pyrofax is real and she is lindsay cobb

The feeling when you walk camp stairs the first time that year verses any other time.

A wrote Haikus for/about Camp Unirondack

                                        Packing is no fun

                                Everything to wear is packed

                                   camp is worth it though

                                        At Unirondack

                                 K.P. means kitchen party

                                       Not kitchen patrol

                                        At Unirondack

                                  We go on a excursion

                                  On every wednesday

                             One bell means next thing

                            Two’s food time, three’s fire

                               Four’s zombie attack

                               When it is free time

                 You can make crafts or get snacks

                              Or maybe kayak

                            Time for campfire

                    Stories, songs, no flashlights

                              Shalom chaverim

                              The week is over

                     We wear costumes and party

                          Then most of us leave

                             It’s intersession

                We watch movies and hangout

                          Over the weekend

                         Others are coming

                 It is now the second week

                     Time to make new friends

                      You can make friends there

                      Convince other friends to go

                            They are all great friends

                              I’ll miss camp a lot

                              I want to stay forever

                                I'll be back next year

                         Camp is so much fun

                  I wish all my friends could come

                              But some are busy

                              Unirondack rocks

                     And these haikus tell you why

                  Please go there next year

                          like to play magic

                      I'm not very good at it

                          But it’s fun to play

                             Silent football’s weird

                       neither silent nor football

                         you don’t want to “win”
