Universal Project – Bleach
I recently moved and it created the occasion for me to go through and listen to my extensive list of CDs. I had a ton of unlabeled or cryptically-labeled burned discs like “IndieWhore 2K1 Ski Trip Mix” or “08-02-2002″. There was also one labeled “kill”. I wasn't listening to anything really hard back when I would have burned this CD, so I actually had no idea what was on it. What I discovered is something that I have listened to at least 10 times in the past 3 days – because it may be the best drum and bass mix ever created.
It’s got the Goldie track that was on the High Fidelity soundtrack. It’s got perhaps the best drop in the history of recorded music. And it has this absolute, ginormous monster of a track that I'd completely forgotten about. I am so proud of my past self for creating this CD.
Anyways, this is the track that is playing if I ever have to create a bank heist scene for a movie I’m directing. Next time you are going for a run and need something to speed up your final mile split...play this.
