“Y-You’re right, I can do this!” Kae said out loud, seemingly to herself as she poked her head inside her bag ever so slightly. Peering inside of it, the girl then withdrew her head and smiled sweetly. Holding a clenched fist near her chest she looked up briefly, as if filled with a sudden wave of determination -- likely in reference to the stack of homework sitting beside her bag on the table. Kae had taken to occupying the library this afternoon, wanting to get ahead on some of her homework so that she could spend more time later on a series of cosplay ensembles she was working on. Blushing, Kae reached inside her bag after sparing a quick glance around, pulling out what seemed to be a stuffed doll. Hugging it close to her chest, the student gushed quietly, practically wiggling in her seat.
“Oh Shion, what would I ever do without you?” She said quietly, closing her eyes for a moment, unaware that she was being observed.
