HELP STANLEY PARABLE ARTIST MOVE OUT OF DANGEROUS HOME: UPDATE
My name is Madisyn and I've known Azura for over half a decade. I have never see… Madisyn Caraway needs your support for HELP AZURA MOVE OUT
UPDATE:
Hello, I had been hesitant to increase the GFM goal as—after we had reached the 3k goal thanks to all of your help—my plan was personally fund her when needed. However, the circumstances of her home put her in a tighter and tighter position with her savings shrinking. While the home she currently lives in is not in her name, she has become the unofficial "breadwinner" in spite of her delayed and paltry earnings from work. Yesterday, the electricity was cut off due to an outstanding debt. Thankfully Azura was able to put the power back on thanks to her savings and incredibly kindhearted donations. I anticipate problems with the house like this will continue.
On my side, what is left untransferred to Azura from the initial GFM goal is $145. This will be sent to her soon as well.
I've raised the goal to 6K. I'm going to continue monetarily supporting her regardless of how much is raised, though I myself am not wealthy.
There's an adage of how being poor is expensive. Living in a decrepit, termite infested house in a flood zone will kick you in the ass. Having stray animals you care for on the property that can get sick and suffer will kick you in the ass. Having predatory utility companies down your neck will kick you in the ass.
I understand the world is difficult for everyone right now. Every dollar donated, past and future, is appreciated fifty-fold, from both me and Azura.
Stay safe out there. 🩷
(P.S. You can also support Azura through her Ko-Fi. She also does art commissions and will announce when slots are available.)

A VERY HAPPY UPDATE
It's with so much excitement and joy that I announce that your support has paid off. Azura is safe in a clean, secure lodging under her name. No longer will rain be a threat to her. No longer will she worry about the roof caving in on her. No longer will she worry about moldy walls, rotten food, infested keepsakes, scorching heat and humidity. She finally has a place she can call home.
I want to thank every single donor and person who spread the GoFundMe. Your generosity saved her life. Words can't express the gratitude I have in my partner having the comfort and safety she's been owed for far too long. She's the strongest person I know, and now she doesn't have to be strong all the time.
I will be closing the GoFundMe as a final act of celebration. Azura is still far from wealthy, but her position is much better when it comes to gaining financial security. Rest assured, I will have her back. This new chapter will be one of adjustment and discovery 🩷
Thank you for everything.
