I'm a bisexual man, & saying it's homophobic erase Kiri's gay coding with bi/pan headcanons isn't biphobic at all... Can't you people put the same energy when someone *actually* erase *actual* canon or coded bi characters lol?
some real biphobia we need to be addressing in regards to bnha is the fact i still see lesbian toga icons & hcs when she is very obviously bi. there are also some other bs gay coding claims that are used to be violently against bi hcs of whatever character is the “coded” one of the week (coded in quotations bc most ppl fail to realize coding most of the time requires hard in stone cultural references & stereotypes), which is also blatant biphobia.
but lots of ppl dont actually care all that much abt biphobia and try to use it as a “gotcha” when gay ppl point out gay characters. its really transparent, and both homophobic & biphobic. two birds with one stone i guess.
