Hip checking ensues, smile devious.
“Aren’t you that one guy from uh.. what is it. Seijou?”

Akaashi had finally done it. After months in the hive with out one, he had found a volleyball under a bench. He sighed in relief, at the relief of using a real volleyball to set instead of a basketball, the one he had been given.
He bent over and picked it up, and walked a few feet own to the wall, and started setting against it.

2. Cheek Kiss
Most weekends were busy for both of them. Daichi had weekend community practices to oversee and participate in while Iwaizumi went to the gym or focused on his studies. The two hardly ever had time together and so moments like this, when they were both bustling around in Daichi’s kitchen, were both welcomed and rare.
“Ah, before you go,” Daichi speaks up, catching the attention of the other. Their friendship blossomed quickly and rather unexpectedly considering their circumstances. He makes his way over to the Seijou ace and leans in to give him a quick peck on the cheek. “That’s for good luck on beating your mile record in the gym. See you later.”
And so they both move on, keeping to their tight schedules. Still, Daichi couldn’t help but grin to himself a bit. He was sure the other smiled when he kissed him and for some reason, that reaction will surely stick with him the whole day until they meet up again later.

☹ A thought that makes them sad.
oh...
well, for him, being here in hive city it’s never going home? he doesn’t know how to process being here or the fact his friends are coming here steadily. he’s happy to see familiar faces but he’s also incredibly anxious about the idea of leaving his reality/real world for this virtual/fake one. like, his family? he hasn’t seen them and so it really dampers his spirits. he also thinks that his friends are in danger here in hive city?? and he is worried he won’t be strong enough to save them the way other people w/ powers are here.
if speaking about haikyuu!! world/verse, i think that something that makes him sad is graduating and having to leave the others behind... :’( like he knows he will have to graduate but he is very attached to them, as any captain is and would be.

SOMETIMES words were never needed between the two of them -- and this was one of those times. Their perfect synchronization on court spilled over into their own friendship; actions as minute as a blink or as trivial as a shrug were taken into account, analyzed, and then interpreted. There were benefits to this kind of relationship: namely, the fact that both of them were an open book to the other -- but it could also be seen as a consequence. For there were never any secrets allowed.
Brown eyes slid to the right as he gave his friend a careful glance. They were walking side by side, down a bustling street in the shopping district. Oikawa fanned himself with a hand against this raggedly humid afternoon. “I could really go for some ice cream right about now.” It had become something of a ritual for them too, after practices. Only this time, there wouldn’t be a practice to come from. Or any practices, for that matter. He bit his lip then, his hand still vigorously swatting up and down near his jacket’s unzipped collar.
Their recent loss to Karasuno remained vividly within Oikawa’s mind. There had been no celebratory dinner afterwards, nor an offer to go to their local supermarket to grab ice creams from refrigerated carts. And to be forced to come here and leave his team then, in such a vulnerable state -- it vexed him. Would they think we was deserting them, deeming them unworthy? Never for a second did he think Shiratorizawa was unconquerable; and it was this very reason that he chose remain with his teammates at Seijou -- and with Iwaizumi.
Oikawa’s features were growing more tense by the minute, and the silence between them only made it more obvious. And so he did what he knew best: put on a smile, flash a grin, and sling his arm over Iwaizumi -- despite the fact that his childhood friend knew him all too well. But it was better than confronting the truth, wasn’t it?
“Ah, but~! Think of all the cool things we could here! Like visit that arcade, check out their night scene, visit those creepy labyrinths...” Oikawa’s sentence trailed off, saving the best idea for last. “Or maybe even join in on a goukon! So we can get Iwa-chan a cute girlfriend!”
